Moulin-Esque the origins
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
The search for Love, Truth, Beauty and Freedom is an eternal one. A group of bohemian young artists, disillusioned with their circumstances, decide to move to Edinburgh to nd these ideals to enhance their own lives. They arrive at the once legendary club, The Moulin-Esque where they believe they will be able to live out the virtues they seek. The club though is
in Financial hardship. Can a new show, funded by a brash uncouth investor be the saviour of the club? Or will a forbidden romance be the end of it all?

A New Vision
This work fuses the old with the modern. Whist the period is thirty years ago the show will use classic contemporary music that will, like love, not fade with time.

Burlesque, dance, circus and magic acts will adorn the stage from a variety of backgrounds and styles. Think avantgarde!
A revivication of the story from a Scottish writer and comedian gives this classic tail a refreshing new edge. The comedic thread running through the production gives further contrast in terms of verbal and visual comedy and social commentary. Whilst the essence of the original is still at its core, Moulin-Esque stands alone as a vibrant, funny and dazzling
production. A classic show, reinvented.
Think "Rob C Nesbitt meets Coco Chanel"
